Vex robotics is something that encourages many young STEM students to embrace themselves. It encourages coding, engineering, and social skills to be a champion. McGehee has been participating in VRC for 3 years, racking up 24 awards. We have so much fun and bond with so many different people.
McGehee's Vex IQ program also originated 3 years ago, exclusively in Middle School. A year later, they expanded to elementary, where they won one award. This year, the middle school program disbanded. The elementary has 5 teams, but are yet to compete.
McGehee was new to BEST Robotics this year. They competed under the Little Rock hub, but unfortunately, didn't qualify for regionals. They did, however, took home two awards from their competition in Little Rock.
